If we’ve learned anything from the global supply chain crisis, streamlining processes and reducing errors should be the number one priority for businesses. Another key lesson is that technology provides the flexibility to quickly scale operations to adapt to changing market conditions.
Therefore, the warehouse management systems (WMS) market is dynamic and evolving along with other supply chain challenges. Globally, it is expected to grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 19.0% between 2023 and 2030.
This development is mainly due to WMS companies that keep up with current trends, such as automation and cloud computing. At the same time, they keep an eye on innovative solutions such as IoT. At Davanti, we strive to deliver the best products and help our customers, whether they are SMEs or larger companies.
That is why we are pleased to announce that we have joined Nederland Distributieland (NDL), or the Holland International Distribution Council (HIDC) in English, a private, non-profit organization that supports supply chain activities in Europe.
NLD – a hub for the European supply chain
This partnership will help us stay up to date on new developments in the industry and gain more insight into how we can help our current and future customers solve their warehouse challenges.
NDL offers consultancy and matchmaking services for supply chain operations in Europe. Funded by the Dutch government and with over 300 members, the organisation provides answers to logistical challenges. One of its main goals is to ensure that companies that want to open or expand their European business can do so without any problems.
For example, companies can obtain important information about the EU market, regulations and trade and how to save costs. This makes entering the European market much more efficient and every company can benefit from Dutch logistics expertise.
To this end, NDL helps companies find logistics partners they can trust. The partners represent all facets of the logistics sector: shippers, carriers, service providers and technology companies. In addition, NDL works with various industries such as aerospace, agrofood, chemicals, high-tech and lifestyle. What’s more, all their services, including 3PL matchmaking, are free.
The partnership between Davanti and NDL
According to Robert Reith, partner account manager Davanti Warehousing,
“Participating in the NDL network and NLD activities makes it easier to reach contacts in new regions. This can bring us new partnerships and accelerate our global CORAX WMS activities.”
The membership is part of a strategic effort to grow internationally and serve many more customers, such as Royal Dutch LV Logistics, who managed to automate many administrative tasks via CORAX WMS despite a 200% growth in their storage capacity.
It is also a great way to meet new people and get in touch with (international) logistics experts who organize events and seminars discussing the latest trends in the industry.
